The 7th AIAA Drag Prediction Workshop will be held June 25-26 in Chicago, IL, in connection with AIAA Aviation 2022.
THE CHALLENGE: Predict the effect of shock-induced separation on the variation of lift and pitching moment with increasing angle-of-attack at transonic conditions.
The focus of the workshop will be the NASA Common Research Model (CRM), wing-body configuration.
Meshes suitable for RANS flow solvers are provided, but participants are encouraged to build their own meshes and/or use other predictive techniques. Computational results will be compared to high-quality wind tunnel data.
