Held annually in scenic Colorado Springs in conjunction with the Space Symposium, the Space Generation Fusion Forum is a three-day, high-intensity, fast-paced professional development and networking event focused on the international and US space industry. Delegates are students and young professionals (ages 18-35) from around the world and various facets of the space sector including science, engineering, law/policy, business/commerce, medicine, media, military, and government. Through breakout sessions, expert panels, keynote presentations, and interactive activities, these selected delegates will "fuse" their unique perspectives and backgrounds to formulate solutions to global problems of interest and importance to the space community.
The Fusion Forum is coordinated by the Space Generation Advisory Council, a United Nations non-profit organization that represents university students and young space professionals ages 18-35 to the United Nations, space agencies, industry, and academia. By hosting international, regional, local and thematic events, as well as attending various events globally, SGAC provides its members with opportunities to expand their knowledge of international space policy issues as well as space topics of a scientific or technical nature, think creatively about the future direction of humanity's use of space, and engage with current leaders from space agencies, industry and academia.
In 2022 the SGFF runs virtually on March 19 and then in a hybrid format on April 1-4 in Colorado Springs, USA.
