Antelope Valley Section

Introduction: I am new to section, but a returning member of AIAA from years ago. I am recently retired from 14 years of work in testing at Edwards. I see a hand full of folks who have apparently identified as community leaders, but no section officers, meetings, etc. 

Should we have officers and meetings? My concept of "meeting" would be an evening meal of wings or pizza or something, with good conversation and networking, and maybe a short tech presentation, low key, easily absorbed after a beer or two.

If I am full of dogey doo, please correct me. On the other hand, if I am tracking something that you would like to see happen, please post to that effect.

AV AIAA holds or co-hosts one or more events each month.  You can join the email distribution list by contacting aiaa.av@gmail.com  

The last event was Apr 6 with dinner and a speaker.

They started doing more in-person events this year. They co-host with SFTE, SAMPE, SETP and others.

If you're able to drive down to LA, there are many events and activities with LA-LV section.
