The AIAA Cape Canaveral Section is proud to promote the 3rd Space Visions Symposium hosted by the Canaveral Council of Technical Societies (CCTS), and we encourage our members and the broader Space Coast community to support this important event.
The 3rd Space Visions Symposium isn't another conference talking about what's next in space — it's where the cape leader, engineers, and organizations building it are working through the specifics: launch pad expansion, launch operations, in-space construction and transportation, spacecraft servicing, sustained-operations logistics, food production and crew wellbeing.
Keynote speaker Jim Thomas (Karman Line, U.S. Space Force Historical Foundation) opens with "From the Cape to Cosmos — Settlement Begins on the Ground."
A panel featuring Space Florida CEO Rob Long and Former Port Canaveral Commissioner Robyn Hattaway tackles the Space Coast's role in what comes next in terms of ground-based infrastucture.
And technical papers from Sidus Space, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Arcfield, Northrop Grumman, Florida Institute of Technology, and more dig into the real engineering questions: satellite maneuverability, lunar water resources, thermal protection systems, and what it takes to keep people alive and healthy off-world.
