This year, the 2020 International Student Paper Conference is being held on Monday 6 January 2020 in Orlando, Florida. The conference will showcase the winners from each of the regions in the Undergraduate (7 presentations), Masters (6 presentations), and Team (5 presentations) categories. This event brings the best and the brightest university students together to share their passion for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), by presenting their winning work on aerospace related topics.

The key to a successful competition is having many diverse on-site judges to evaluate the presentations.  It is not critical that you are a subject matter expert (SME) in any one field but more important that you can fairly judge the student's ability to grasp the concepts, present their hypothesis, work and results, and answer questions on the spot. There is a scoring rubric and you are expected to provide a few written comments to each student, however, AIAA staff will ensure that you need to do minimal administrative tasks. Just show up, listen to our wonderful student members present their original research, and give them a little feedback,

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact me, Michael Lagana by 31 December 2019. You may reach me by email at michaell@aiaa.org. We look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for your time and support for AIAA student programs.
