    Hello everyone,

My name is Stetson and I'm currently a nondestructive testing (NDT) technician for Virgin Galactic working at Spaceport America near T or C. I recently joined AIAA as a student member. I also studying engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Worldwide. I currently hold three ASNT NDT Level III certifications (MT, RT, UT) with plans to obtain two more before the end of the year. My dream job is to become an NDT engineer for an aerospace company.

I was first introduced to NDT in my hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I enrolled in the nondestructive testing technology program at Spartan College of Aeronautics & Technology. I completed the program in late 2015 and moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL to work for a company that provided NDT services to small maintenance facilities of business jets at nearby airports (PBI, BCT, FLL, FXE, TMB, MIA). I worked there for two and a half years and then moved to Alamogordo, NM for a position with a USAF government contractor performing NDT on F-16's. After a year of working there, I joined Virgin Galactic in Mojave, CA until I was transferred to their flight operations team in New Mexico and have been here since.

I look forward to networking with each of you and hope to meet you in person soon!

    Sincerely,
