    Dear Members, 
    The Greater Huntsville Section's biggest annual event - The Next Gen Technical Symposium - is almost here. The program schedule is uploaded on the website, click here to check it out. 
    This two-day event from Sep 9-10 gives you the opportunity to attend all of the following:
    • Technical Sessions (Fly It, Build It, Code It, Teach It)
    • Keynote Speeches by Dr. Deborah Barnhart (USSRC), Don Farr (Boeing), Bill Roark (Torch Technologies), & Dr. Michelle Christensen (Blue Origin)
    • Speed mentoring session with over 10 Leaders from NASA, Jacobs, Boeing, ULA, Blue Origin, AIAA, 
    • Technical Panel Discussion on Hypersonics by Dr. Ragini Acharya (CFDRC), Dr. Brian Landrum (UAH), Dr. Bruce Moylan (U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Center), Mr. Brad Hopping (Boeing), Dr. John Schmisseur (UTSI)
    • Soft Skills Workshop on "Giving Better Feedback" by Kristin Scroggins, 
    • Monday and Tuesday Breakfast & Lunch
    • Opening Reception at Innerspace Brewery
    • Closing Reception with Von Braun Symposium
    Additionally, two short courses are also available on Sunday, September 8th. They are 1) Aerial Photography and mapping with small Unmanned Aerial System & 2) Introduction to Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
    Registration to the Next Gen Technical Symposium includes access to all of the activities on September 9th-10th. Separate tickets are only sold for the short courses since they are not included in the symposium registration costs. Tickets to the two-day symposium are priced at $55 for AIAA members and $65 for non-members. One-day tickets are also available at $30 for AIAA members and $35 for non-members.
