The Athens State University AIAA Student Branch, the AIAA Greater Huntsville Section, the Von Braun Astronomical Society and the US Space and Rocket Center proudly present an evening with Dr. Robert Zubrin on Thursday, September 19th from 5:30-7:30 pm at the National Geographic Theater at the US Space and Rocket Center. Dr. Zubrin is a aerospace engineer, renowned author of books on space, and founder & president of Mars Society.
The Thursday German Biergarten, featuring authentic German cuisine and beer for purchase, will commence at 4:30 through 7:30 p.m. with Dr. Zubrin's Social and Book Signing starting at 5:30. His talk in the National Geographic Theater will be at 6:00 p.m. There will be additional time for signings and socializing after the talk. Donations will be taken in support of fund-raising for the overall event resulting in raffling off several copies of Dr. Zubrin's new book "The Case For Space". Additional books will be for sale and Dr. Zubrin will personally sign copies there.
