Each year the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) holds the "WWII Heritage Day" at the Historical Airpower Facility, Atlanta Regional Airport-Falcon Field. It is an event that gives people a glimpse into the past with many sights, sounds, and people (re-enactors) from the World War II era. It is a two day event on April 27 & 28 of 2019 and goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.
Expect to be taken back to the days of World War II with live re-enactors, vehicles from the era, real vintage world war II aircraft, guest speakers, demonstrations including mock battles and WWII exhibits. If you haven't been to the "WWII Heritage Days" before, it is time you did. Families are welcome and invited to come. With so much fascinating history kids are bound to enjoy themselves while remembering these days for a long long time.

Did we mention that there will be a dance? Yep, on saturday night the night will end with the annual "Keep 'em Flying" WWII hanger dance. Money raised from this dance will go to help preserving historic aircraft preservation and the CAF's history program for schools & youth groups.
