The Society for Science, established in 1921, has run the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) currently sponsored by Regeneron since 1950. Each year at Regeneron ISEF, more than 1,800 students representing 80 countries, regions, and territories compete for more than $5 million in awards, scholarships, internships, and prizes. These high school students are the top winners of regional, state, and national science fairs from around the United States and the world. In May 2022, ISEF will be hosted in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia World Congress Center.  We are currently recruiting judges across 21 categories to evaluate projects. Category descriptions can be found here. Judges may include university faculty and scientists, industrial engineers and scientists, representatives of private and federal research centers and agencies, medical researchers, post-doctoral fellows, and senior graduate students. Affiliated science fair directors are generally NOT eligible to serve as Regeneron ISEF judges. Your skills and background make you uniquely qualified to be a grand award judge at Regeneron ISEF. If you are interested in becoming a Grand Award Judge please sign up here

Judging is tentatively scheduled to take place May 9th- May 11th.  By volunteering, you can play an important role in encouraging these students to become the future science and engineering leaders of tomorrow. Please consider sharing your expertise with our student finalists. If you have any questions, please email us at judging@societyforscience.org.
