This Saturday topic: " Apollo Flight Computers - Operations and Training ".
Frank Hughes worked for NASA in astronaut training from 1966 to 1999. Frank worked with and trained all the astronauts flying up to 2005. With specialization in Cislunar Navigation during Apollo, he trained the astronauts in all Apollo computer operations and navigation to get back to Earth. Mr. Hughes joined Tietronix Software in 2001 and continued developing training systems for NASA and other government agencies. These new systems involve developments in training portability using head ported devices.
Next Saturday, February 6, Charles Mudd will be addressing space law, just in time for AIAA Congressional Visit Days (CVD). This year AIAA CVD will be virtual, visit AIAA for more information and registration.
