Presentation Summary: Presentation of Stratolaunch Systems Corporation’s exciting progress with standing up an Air-Launch-To-Orbit (ALTO) space business enterprise.  More details on the Carrier Aircraft (the world’s largest airplane by wingspan), the PGA liquid hydrogen engine, the Pegasus XL rocket partnership, and new Medium Launch Vehicle and Reusable Spaceplane under development.

      Brendan has a key role onsite at Stratolaunch’s Mojave operational base standing up integrated airborne launch Mission Operations activities (Aircraft + Rocket + Satellite).Prior to joining Stratolaunch, Brendan was Chief Engineer of Educational Laboratories at MIT’s flagship university project in Russia in the heart of Eastern Europe’s “Silicon Valley” project: Skolkovo.  There he focused on rapid prototyping, hardware-centric entrepreneurship and product development. Prior to his international work, Brendan worked at Orbital (now Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems) as a satellite-manufacturing engineer as well as a liquid propulsion engine test engineer for the Antares rocket program. He received his M.S. in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and B.S degrees in both Aeronautics/Astronautics and Brain/Cognitive Sciences from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
