    Hello all!

    The University of Michigan AIAA Student Branch is hosting Dr. Nahum Melamed for a lecture on asteroid interception virtually via Zoom!

    Join us on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00 pm ET (4:00 PT), for the lecture. Dr. Melamed is a project leader in the Embedded Control Systems Department in the Guidance and Control Subdivision at The Aerospace Corporation and the topic of his presentation will be Applying GN&C Solutions to the Problem of Asteroid Interception for Planetary Defense!

    With The Aerospace Corporation, Dr. Melamed validates and certifies the flight software and mission parameters for the Delta IV launch vehicles, and conducts planetary defense technical and policy studies. He earned a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech.
