Call for Judges: AIAA NCS Science Fairs 2020

Each spring, volunteers from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics National Capital Section (AIAA NCS) serve as judges of aerospace-related projects at eight local regional secondary school science fairs.

We are pleased to announce again this year that NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Greenbelt, Maryland will host the AIAA NCS Regional Science Fair winners from MD, DC, and Virginia this July. Tentatively scheduled for three days, this experiential learning hands-on VIP-style event is modeled after the Mission Lifecycle. Winners from all eight fairs will be provided with special access to facilities and guided activities to participate in mock experiences about how missions evolve.

This is where we need your help: NCS members are needed to serve as judges of students' projects in grades 9-12 at the eight fairs. Judging is conducted in teams of 3-5 members; materials and guidance will be provided. See below, and let us know!
