Close out the year with your AIAA National Capital Section! Festive holiday refreshments will be provided, and there will be door prizes for Ugliest Holiday Sweater and Best Aerospace Attire. Event space is limited to the first 30 RSVPs, so please make sure you attend.

UVA Aero Day this Sunday
If you're in Central Virginia, you're invited to the return of Aero Day hosted by the UVA AIAA Chapter! The event will be Sunday, Dec 3, 11:30-1:30 at Darden Court on campus (914 Emmet St S, Charlottesville, VA). The event is open to all and will feature a guest speaker, student research presentations, aerospace-related crafts for kids, food, music, and more!

Successful AIAA YPSE 2023
Thanks to all who attended the November AIAA Young Professionals, Students and Educators (YPSE) conference, including NCS science fair award winner Ismail Shah. Ismail presented research performed at Oxon Hill High School to an audience including AIAA President Dr. Laura McGill! Participants got to hear many great technical presentations as well as keynotes and a panel with engineering leads from the New Horizons, Parker Solar Probe, DART, and Dragonfly APL missions. If you missed it, be sure to attend next November. Our partners at AIAA Mid-Atlantic are always looking for speakers and sponsors!
NASM Udvar-Hazy 20th Anniversary This Saturday
From hands-on activities to special access to the Restoration Hangar to free parking, the National Air and Space Museum is going all out for the 20th anniversary of the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. 10am-2pm.
