"USAF Test Pilot School: 1944 to Today" by AIAA NFS webinar

Please join us Wednesday, November 17th, when the Commandant of the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School, Colonel Sabrina “Poco” Pabon, presents an inside look at the school, from its inception in 1944 as a small unit at Wright Field to its current operation at Edwards Air Force Base.  She will cover specifics of the course today to illustrate how the Air Force educates and trains the next generation of flight and space test professionals.

Colonel Pabon earned her commission in 1999 from the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of Notre Dame.  She has been a flight test squadron director of operations and has served in the Indo-Pacific Command J8 Directorate.  Only the second flight test engineer (versus test pilot) and the first woman among the forty-four previous commandants of the school, Col Pabon is a senior officer aircrew member with more than 800 military flight hours in 40 aircraft types as a flight test engineer and instructor flight test engineer.
