Dear AIAA New England Members,
I would like to inform you that we are opening the nominations for the council officer roles (attached) for June 2022/2023. Voting members are senior members, members, and Fellows.
If you have a person you would like to nominate (not yourself) to run for the officers' role, please contact me by April 14.
Please see below for the election schedule:
- By April 15: Nominating Committee will present its slate to the council.
- By April 22: The committee shall combine that slate with nominations from the membership. If no nominations are made for a particular officer role - the committee's nominee will be the winner. Winners will be announced.
- By May 1: If an election is required for contested slots, the Chair will select a Teller Committee to count the votes when they arrive. The Secretary shall prepare and distribute ballots. Twenty 20 days are allowed for the voting.
- By May 20: Voting closes.
- By May 25: Teller Committee determines the winner(s). The Secretary announces the results.
- On June 1: New councilors take office.
