Come see the AIAA-NE table at the Collings Foundation special event Saturday in Stow, MA: "Tanks, Wings, & Wheels." Visit the Collings grounds and the brand new American Heritage Museum! (The Collings event is both Saturday and Sunday, though the AIAA-NE table is only there on Saturday.)

Event details from the Collings site:

Our first Special Event of the year where we have the entire Collings Foundation grounds open to the public including the American Heritage Museum, the Collings Foundation Aircraft Hangar, and the Collings Foundation Antique & Classic Automobile Collection. Though the American Heritage Museum is open each week, the aircraft and automobile collection only opens to the public twice a year - so this is your opportunity to see this amazing collection for Father's Day!

The American Heritage Museum is a new 73,000 square foot museum featuring an astounding collection of 85 tanks, armored vehicles, cannons, aircraft, historical artifacts, uniforms, and interactive exhibits like the WWI Trench Experience. The museum traces the role of the American citizen soldier and technology in battles fought from the Revolutionary War through current battlefields including one of the largest collections of World War II artifacts in the nation.

The Collings Foundation Classic Car Collection features over 20 rare automobiles from the early 1900s to 1940s including automobiles from noted manufacturers like Cadillac, Ford, Franklin, Packard, Stanley, Stutz, Buick, Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg, and Rolls-Royce.

The Collings Foundation Aircraft Hangar featured an incredible display of over a dozen fully restored historic aircraft including a 1909 Bleriot XI, 1909 Curtiss Headless Pusher, 1914 Curtiss Model F Flying Boat, TBM Avenger, FM-2 Wildcat, Fi-156 Storch, and a Grumman Goose. Also inside the hangar is a collection of over twenty classic sprint, midget and Indianapolis race cars.

    History Comes Alive!
At 12:00 PM noon on both Saturday and Sunday the Collings Foundation will present American Elegance Wings & Wheels. This is a captivating and entertaining presentation of the Foundation's most rare automobiles, aircraft and military equipment – all operating before your eyes!
