We have started the process of looking for judges for the AIAA
Region I student conference taking place on Friday March 31 and Saturday April 1 at the
University at Buffalo
!
There are remote and in-person options. More details below:
1) Technical judges evaluate student paper submissions remotely, in advance of the conference.
2) Oral presentation judges evaluate oral presentations in-person at the conference:
Friday, March 31 (~1 PM - 4:30 PM)
Saturday, April 1 (~9 AM - 2 PM)
It is requested that oral presentation judges attend both days of the conference to maintain consistency in evaluations. Judges can either be technical judges -OR- oral presentation judges (not both).
Technical and Oral judges can be any
AIAA
professional member (
https://lnkd.in/eSTRZQXq
) in good standing as long as they are not a university/college faculty member from the host university (University at Buffalo). Additionally, no faculty member may participate in judging the technical or oral competition if there is a paper or papers entered into the corresponding category of competition from their institution. University/college faculty members shall declare their institutional affiliation before judging to avoid conflicts of interest.
