Greetings PGC TC members from your Membership Sub-committee Chair,

We are fast approaching the time when new member applications to our TC will need to be reviewed and new members selected.  That means two things:

    1) It's important for those of us who are no longer active in the TC to voluntarily roll off.  We have a nearly full roster, which is a good thing that many TC's don't have, but we can't accept new members, no matter how well-qualified they are, if we don't have folks leaving.  I've said this before, but I'll say it again, being a contributor to PGC technology is not the same as being active in the TC.  Please consider your membership carefully.  At this point there is only one open slot, and if the past is any indicator, we will have many more than that applying.

    2) AIAA is adding a "Judge Team" for each committee this year. The team will consist of regular judges and a judge team "Manager" (me). The "Manager" will be responsible for reviewing the team's scores and providing a final Accept/Decline to AIAA for each applicant.  We already do this in our TC, but the team is tiny.  So...I'm looking for 3-4 volunteers to be judges.  If you are interested in helping, please let me know.

Please respond to me directly rather than to the whole TC.

    Thanks,

    Dan Paxson

    Hi Dan,
Glad to hear from You. I thought I was already off the TC. If not, please roll me off.
    Thanks.
