    Dear Section Members,

Recent changes to the AIAA governance structure has led to the need to update all section bylaws to make them compliant with current policies.

A draft of the new Southwest Texas bylaws is attached for your approval  Please let me know by 19 November if you have any questions or would like to disapprove these bylaws. You can use the "Reply to Sender" link to send questions or comments.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this important document for the governance of the Southwest Texas Section!

I approve of those by-laws.  The review of Treasurer's responsibilities does prompt my recollection that I should get on the accounts at some point.

Where is checking account now?  I'm assuming I'll have to visit a branch with photo ID to get signature card on file with bank/credit union.

Who has Vanguard scholarship account login information (I have account numbers, but assume login has changed)?  Was wanting to revisit those two accounts and possibly put together a proposal for SwTX Officer's review of those investments and possible balancing of their allocations/amounts.

    All -

I sent out this message to you'all outside the Engage network, so this may be something you have already seen.

    Everyone -

Attached is a revised bylaw draft of what I believe is the correct territory for our section based upon my work years ago on the unassigned counties in Texas that I did with Jayant and then Burgess. I think Sarah or Pablo should ask Lindsay at AIAA National to incorporate the other counties into their document.

Unless Lindsay revises the territory county list to what I am providing, I do not think we should vote to approve the proposed bylaws.
