    Hello AIAA Utah Section Members,

As you all are aware, we are in the throws of putting together our Wasatch Aerospace and Systems Engineering inaugural mini-conference that is taking place Thursday, April 15th and Friday, April 16th. As a reminder, the conference will be entirely virtual. We have been hard at work putting together a conference that will be not only meaningful, but a lot of fun too. We are now calling on all of you to see if you would be willing to volunteer on the day(s) of the conference. There are two positions that we need assistance with that have two different levels of responsibility/time commitment.
First, we need room moderators. You would be assigned for either morning (11-12) or afternoon (1-4:45) shift on Thursday and/or Friday. Your job would be running the powerpoint, ensuring that the person presenting is keeping to their allotted time, and just generally making sure that everything runs smoothly during the actual presentations.
Second, we need presentation judges. These people would need to sit in on all of the presentations, and provide their assessment on who should win each category Friday afternoon so that folks can be notified Friday evening at the final banquet. Note: If you are presenting at the mini-conference, you cannot be a judge!
If you are really excited about volunteering, you can be both a judge and a moderator! You can also moderate for multiple shifts if you so prefer, but we would be thrilled with any amount of your time if you are able to give it.
Regardless of what position you assist with, we will do a tech check beforehand to make sure that we are all set.
The team would greatly appreciate any help that you can provide. Please let me know if you would be interested in either of these roles, and do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
