Join us for monthly star parties at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History's Palmer Observatory, 2nd Saturday of each month from dusk to 10pm. View various planets, galaxies, nebulae, and much more!! Members of the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit share their cosmic knowledge and answer questions. They also set up their telescopes along side the Palmer Observatory, viewing different celestial bodies throughout the evening. Free event, open to AIAA members and non-members alike. If there's interest, we can meet ahead of the event for food and libations.
Star Parties take place at the Palmer Observatory on the 2nd Saturday of each month (weather permitting) from about dusk to about 10:00pm.
Next event is 14-March.
See you there!
