Visit the Most Powerful Aerospace Collection in Indiana
At the Roll-Royce Heritage Trust – Allison Branch Museum
Our mission is to preserve and promote the 100+ year Allison/Rolls-Royce Indianapolis propulsion system heritage.
The Heritage Trust facility (on the west side of Indianapolis) has over 3000 sq ft of engine display floor space as well as our paper/photo/film/video archive, restoration workshop, model repair area and warehouse storage.
The display floor contains over 30 exhibits ranging from historic piston engines, vintage turbojets, turboprops and turboshafts as well as unique Allison assets such as an Apollo moon mission fuel tank and the PropFan; a precursor to the next generation of airline propulsion systems. Other significant displays include a Rolls-Royce Pegasus engine that powered the STOV AV-8B Harrier, and an Olympus engine that powered the supersonic passenger Concorde aircraft.
There is no charge for admission. Donations graciously accepted.
Please email aiaahoosier@gmail.com your name so we can include you in the sign up sheet. Deadline is 9/12/25!
