Join us for our May professional lecture on the Challenger Learning Center. In the aftermath of the Challenger tragedy, the crews' families came together to establish the Challenger Center for Space Science Education. 30 years later, Challenger Center and its global network of Challenger Learning Centers use space-themed simulated learning and role-playing strategies to help students bring their classroom studies to life and cultivate skills needed for future success, such as problem solving, critical thinking, communication and teamwork. A not-for-profit 501(c)(3) education organization, Challenger Center reaches hundreds of thousands of students, and tens of thousands of teachers every year.
This event will take place virtually on Thursday, May 12th from 12 PM to 1 PM CT. Please register here to receive the information to access the lecture via Zoom.
We hope you can join us for this talk on the Challenger Center's mission, partnership opportunities, and how we can all work together to inspire the next generation of explorers.
