I am delighted to forward the news that this week it was announced that three members of the AIAA Carolina Section will be receiving major AIAA Awards.
Daniel Mooney, recently retired Vice President from the Boeing Company in Charleston SC, has been elected a 2020 AIAA Fellow. Dan will be recognized at the AIAA Fellows Dinner and the Honors Gala this May in Washington DC.
Beth Leavitt, an AIAA Educator Associate and Science Teacher at Wade Hampton High School in Greenville SC, has been selected a winner of a 2020 AIAA Educator Achievement Award. Beth will be recognized at the AIAA Honors Gala this May in Washington DC.
George Greene, Associate Fellow recently retired from the FAA and NASA Langley, has been selected winner of the 2020 AIAA Losey Atmospheric Sciences Award. George will be honored at the AIAA Aviation Forum this June in Reno NV.
