    Congratulations to the five Dayton-Cincinnati Section members for being elected to the Class of 2027 Associate Fellows:
    Dr. Elizabeth K. Benitez, Air Force Research Laboratory
    Dr. Patrick R. Hammer, Air Force Research Laboratory
    Lt Col Robert L. MacDermott, Air Force Institute of Technology
    Mr. Gregory L. Roth, Air Force Research Laboratory
    Dr. Stephen “Michael” Spottswood, Air Force Research Laboratory
    The grade of Associate Fellow recognizes individuals “who have accomplished or been in charge of important engineering or scientific work, or who have done original work of outstanding merit, or who have otherwise made outstanding contributions to the arts, sciences, or technology of aeronautics or astronautics.” They will be honored at an Induction Ceremony and Dinner on Wednesday, January 13, 2027, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando during AIAA’s SciTech Forum 2027, held on January 11-15, 2027 in Orlando, Florida.

  • AIAA Class of 2026 Fellow

    Congratulations to Section member Sukesh Roy of Spectral Energies, LLC, who was selected as an AIAA Class of 2026 Fellow. AIAA confers Fellow upon individuals in recognition of their notable and valuable contributions to the arts, sciences or technology of aeronautics and astronautics. The class will be inducted during a ceremony on Monday, May 18, 2026, in Washington, DC.
