  • Dr. Cam Carter wins AIAA Air Breathing Propulsion Award

    Dr. Campbell Carter of the Air Force Research Laboratory's Aerospace Systems Directorate is the 2017 recipient of the AIAA Air Breathing Propulsion Award. Established in 1975, the Air Breathing Propulsion Award is presented to an individual for sustained, meritorious accomplishment in the arts, sciences, and technology of air breathing propulsion systems. Cam's citation reads: “For Outstanding research on optical diagnostics for high-speed flowfields, including: 1) PLIF of OH and CH; 2)n-LIBS; 3) X-ray fluorescence; and 4) chemiluminescence-based tomography.” Congrats!
