• Background in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Systems, Electrical, Materials, or related Engineering fields

• Programming experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
• Strong motivation to explore AI applications during the PhD
About Dr. Liu and the Lab:
Dr. Zheng Liu joined UM-Dearborn in Fall 2025. He earned his PhD in Systems Engineering (UIUC), his Master's in Mechanical Engineering (Cornell), and his Bachelor's in Energy & Power Engineering (Xi'an Jiaotong University).
