Phoenix Section

It's that time of year when your Phoenix Section of AIAA looks for candidates for officers to manage our local activities for the 2022-23 year. Our current officers are:

We are having an election for six of these positions next month (March) so we are looking for nominations (you can nominate yourself). The four main officers have one-year terms and the four At-Large officers have two-year terms, which are staggered such that each year we elect two people. The terms for Jenkins and Nichols are expiring this year. Officers may succeed themselves if they wish to run for multiple terms.

Nominations are due February 15. (Sorry for the short notice...) The current Council is hoping to see some new faces get involved in operating the Phoenix Section. It is a small time commitment, and we are a friendly group. You get to network with folks from companies all over the Valley and could learn some organizational skills that you can put to use at your current position.
