Dr. Richard Hallion gave a Distinguished Lecture via Zoom on 11-17 to AIAA Phoenix members and the ASU community. The topic of the lecture was Hypersonics, and the video is only viewable using the hyperlink (it will not appear if you simply search for it on Youtube).
Dr. Hallion has been a historian and policy maker in the aerospace field, and specifically the developing field of hypersonic flight for over 40 years. In this lecture, he details many of the technology's trials and tribulations since its conception back before WWII, as well as some of his takes on what the future of hypersonics may look like.
