Caite Beck works for L3Harris as a Systems Engineering in Salt Lake City, UT. Originally from Houston, Texas, Caite obtained her B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016. After graduating, she moved to Utah where she began working for Northrop Grumman as a Procurement Quality Engineer supporting the Space Launch System, OmegA, GEM63/XL/XLT and 2.75" Flares programs. After being in that role for 2.5 years, she transitioned to Structural Design Engineering where she primarily designed metal hardware for the Booster Obsolescence Life Extension (BOLE) program. After 2 years, Caite worked as a Project Engineer overseeing the metal case hardware for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Caite obtained her MSE with a concentration in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University in 2019, and is currently pursuing her MBA from Indiana University.
She is the Technical Programs Deputy Director for Region VI, past chair for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Utah Section, and is the Vice Chair of the Utah Engineers Council (UEC). In her free time, she volunteers as a member of the Junior League of Ogden, and enjoys taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that Utah has to offer.
