    Dear colleagues,

I would like to share the upcoming Non-Deterministic Approaches (NDA) plenary lecture at the AIAA SciTech Forum 2026, given by Prof. Olivier de Weck from MIT. This lecture may be of interest to those working with underlying uncertainty in systems engineering and aerospace applications.

Design for Uncertainty: Classification, Resolvability, and Application to Aerospace Missions and Systems

    Speaker: Olivier de Weck
Apollo Program Professor of Astronautics, MIT
    Associate Department Head, AeroAstro

    Date: Tuesday, January 13, 2026
    Time: 1:00–2:00 pm (Eastern)
    Location: Orlando Ballroom N

This lecture will address key questions regarding the sources of uncertainty in complex systems and how uncertainty can be classified and managed. The talk will highlight recent advances and applications across aerospace missions, planetary exploration, UAV operations, and related domains.

Please find the flyer attached for additional details. I hope you can join us.

    Best regards,
