    Dear colleagues,

Sending a friendly reminder that we are still collecting NDA contributions relevant for the YIR column of the Aerospace America magazine until next Thursday, Sept 25th. I’ve collected a few so far and would love to see more! Happy to help any way I can to make sure we get your work in the article this year. Also feel free to let me know if I can be expecting something from you. Again, note the following:

    1. The article is required to be 450-600 words total so we are limited to approx. 1-3 sentences per contribution. Please see last year's NDA YIR article  for contribution examples. See here for the entire 2024 archive. This year's article will be a digital-only publication.
    2. Please email me your write-up (in word format), and any images, to Erin DeCarlo, erin.decarlo@swri.org, no later than Thursday, September 25th 1159pm EST
    3. Focus should be on developments that happened in 2025. Furthermore, we can talk about laboratory tests, test flights, first flights, developmental milestones, operational achievements, contract awards, introduction of new products, new or updated policies, laws, regulations, and/or new software.
    4. The contributions should make reference to the exact month in 2025. At the very least, it should identify the time of year approximately (e.g., "in early 2025").
    5. We are allowed to include up to three photographs. The original source of the photograph (in png or jpeg format) should be provided. This image should be high-resolution for digital publication. There is also now an opportunity to embed open-source video.
    6. Also see attached document for detailed requirements for the text, picture, and video contributions.

Let me know if you have any questions. Happy to help, and I look forward to your contribution!

    Erin DeCarlo
