As we approach the SciTech abstract deadline I wanted to make sure you're aware of several special sessions the TC is organizing.
1) MDO Benchmarks for Aircraft Design
- Examples, past results, and application of new strategies for complex MDO problems. Submissions to this session will be used to deepen our bench of available benchmarks to foster collaboration uncover areas of required development in our current algorithms and processes.
2) A Vision for Next Generation MDO
- White papers expounding on organization's view of MDO's path looking forward. Material from this session will be used to inform the generation of a Vision Statement for MDO, which in turn will be used to help guide investment and focus within the community.
3) Technology Transfer of Emerging MDO Methods and Software
- This session focuses on bringing leading algorithm developers with MDO practitioners in a focused forum designed to ensure researchers are getting timely and constructive feedback on their work and that practitioners/users are aware of these developments and how they may best be used in the field.
