Dayton/Cincinnati Section,
We are entering the election cycle for Section officers. This message is a call for nominations. Any member of the Section, irrespective of member grade, may stand for election as an Officer or Council member. Currently, there are 3 positions that are open and need to be filled. First, there is the Public Policy Chair. The Public Policy Chair keeps the section informed on AIAA, governmental, and public policy issues from all levels that are important to the aerospace community. The second position is the Technical Committee Chair. The Technical Committee Chair is responsible for technical interchanges (presentations, panels, or conference) on local work of interest to section members. The third position is Assistant Treasurer, to help out the current Treasurer and possibly replace him later.
