Dayton/Cincinnati Section,
Hello! We are looking for section members, including students & faculty, to volunteer for TechFest 2026. TechFest is a FREE two-day annual event, with over 80 hands-on STEM activities and over 20 family-friendly INFO-TAINMENT presentations and breakout sessions. This event takes place over the President's Day weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, February 14-15, 2026 at Sinclair Community College (Bldg 12), 301 West Fourth Street, Dayton, OH 45402. We have a booth representing the AIAA Dayton-Cincinnati Section. What we do:
• Signature hands-on activity: Design, Build, Launch a Straw Rocket. Hit a target, win a prize!
• Paper airplanes, paper helicopters, and more!
Hours available:
Saturday 14 February: 10:00AM – 5:00PM
Sunday 15 February: 10:00AM – 5:00PM
We need at least 4 volunteers at all times, requesting 2-hr commitments from each. Please submit by February 12, 2025 so we can finalize the schedule and distribute. If anyone is available Friday, February 13 ~ 5:00PM, we could use help unloading and setting up our booth.
