Bio

I invent the future, cultivating and growing the teams around me so that innovation can flourish. I measure my success by the accomplishments of my team - both in the products that we bring to market as well as the individual career goals achieved. People + Technology are connected in my DNA.

I currently work on inventing the future of flight at GE Aviation, building upon a legacy of R&D experiences at GE Global Research and a battle-tested toolbox I built at Virginia Tech. I've created thrust sensors that use light, seals that never degrade, coatings that never flake, and gas turbine architectures that love to chew on sand and dust. I believe in the power of insights from Big Data when married to deep technical expertise.

The strongest leaders are those that serve their teams and the communities around them. "Ut Prosim" is at my core.
