Hello! I'm Janice!
I am a Subsystems Lead Engineer at General Motors working on various occupant positioning (aka seats) controls. I've been working in the Automotive Sector since graduating with my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering in 2014. Systems engineering is something I'm passionate about and fortunately I'm in a role that gives me the opportunity to lead in development of systems engineering within my company.
Though I'm not working directly in the Aerospace Industry, I am active in AIAA and like to keep up with my network and the area of interest that led me to study Aerospace Engineering.
I'm in the Young Professionals Group under the AIAA Integration and Outreach Division as the YP Deputy Director for Region III. As the DD I am the link of communication between the sections and the national level. I'm also the editor of the YP Newsletter and a Mentor through AIAA.
