Hi! My name is Paislee Adlington, and I am currently a senior at West Virginia University pursuing dual Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Throughout my time in college I have been a heavily involved member of our Experimental Rocketry Student organization which I have been fortunate to hold multiple leadership positions like Treasurer, Designated L3, Recovery Lead, and currently am the President. From Experimental Rocketry, I am currently working on research project partnered with the West Virginia NASA Space Grant Consortium and two close engineer friends for a Roll Reduction System for Mid-Power Rocket. The three of are excited to have been accepted for AIAA's Region I conference to present our research this April!
While being a student at WVU, I have been fortunate to take part in 2 summer internships during my academic career. In Summer 2022, I worked as a manufacturing engineering intern with Aurora Flight Sciences at their location here in West Virginia. Most recently, I was a mechanical systems engineering intern with Aurora Flight Sciences but at their headquarters in Northern Virginia during Summer of 2023. This upcoming summer, I have accepted my final internship working as a test and evaluation engineering intern with General Informatics at NAVAIR's Patuxent River. Following Summer 2024, I will be in my final semester of my degree program with graduation planned for December 2024.
