The Airborne Directed Energy Systems Integration Committee (ADESIC) seeks to identify and address the pacing technical challenges for developing, integrating and deploying High-Energy Laser (HEL) systems aboard aircraft. The committee conducts specific case studies designed to foster increased communication and collaboration across organizational and institutional barriers to solve these complex, multi-disciplinary challenges. Products include special conference sessions, technical papers, best practices, short courses, and other publications. The committee operates in partnership with the Directed Energy Professional Society, and its membership includes representatives from the U.S. Government, industry and academia with a broad range of relevant technical expertise.
