    Posted 25 Aug, 2025 08:57

    Hello everyone,

I'm excited to join this community! My name is Lisa Bertoson, and I serve as the STEM Community Coordinator for the SpaceTech Scholars Program at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

We're currently seeking volunteer panelists from diverse backgrounds for our upcoming Space Internship Panel, taking place on Tuesday, September 2, from 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM in the AES Forum of our new Aerospace and Engineering Sciences building.

Our goal is to help students better understand pathways into space-related internships and careers. Your insights and experiences could make a meaningful impact on their academic and professional journeys.

We'll provide a parking codelight refreshments, and a warm welcome! If you or someone in your network are interested in participating, please feel free to reach out or share this opportunity.

Thank you for considering this- we appreciate your support in inspiring the next generation of aerospace professionals!

Hi Lisa, just saw this post and if the slot hasn't been filled I'd love to attend and share my experiences/insight as a former intern before being in my full-time role, however unsure if travel costs are something that are covered for this event.
