    AIAA Executive Director, Dan Dumbacher, will testify before the House Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee on Thursday, 20 January, at 11am ET. The hearing will be livestreamed on the committee’s website. The details and witness list are below.

     

    Keeping Our Sights on Mars Part 3: A Status Update and Review of NASA’s Artemis Initiative

    Purpose of the hearing is to examine the status of plans and progress on the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Artemis initiative; to review challenges related to the implementation of those activities; and to understand the factors that contribute to overall success in the nation’s Moon to Mars efforts, among other issues.

  • Experts Needed for New AIAA Committee on Standards (CoS)

    The AIAA Committee on Standards (CoS) for GTTC Wind Tunnel Measurement Uncertainty Analysis has been approved and the Institute is seeking members to help draft documents on the new standard, review drafts, and vote to determine if text is acceptable for publication. This new CoS will be the consensus body for the revision project to combine AIAA S-071A-1999, Standard: Assessment of Experimental Uncertainty With Application to Wind Tunnel Testing, and its supplemental document, AIAA G-045-2003, Guide: Assessing Experimental Uncertainty.
