We received quite a few submissions and have been in the process of diligently looking them over. We plan to have our final decisions made by 5/21 and will make an announcement around that time to recognize the selected winners. Around that time we will also contact each winner via the email address that was provided on the submitted form so that the prize distribution can be coordinated.
The judges, whom are each AIAA NOS members and engineers working within the aerospace field, want to commend the participants for their wonderful entries. We have been happy to look at each picture and read each essay. We want all of the participants to know that they did a good job. Thus far, it has been a pleasure to review the projects. We've seen quite a bit of imagination, creativity, and enthusiasm, as well as some good rationale to support your visions. Whether you receive a prize or not, we encourage all of you to feed your interest in STEM and to consider a career in the field of aerospace. Keep up the good work and always continue to learn!
