Amy Bean
Luncheon Keynote Speaker
Amy is a speaker, a writer, and the daughter of Aviator, Astronaut, Artist Alan Bean, lunar module pilot for Apollo 12 who grew up in Fort Worth, TX. Amy grew up in the history-making community of men, women and children who had a dream, worked together to achieve the impossible, and landed man on the moon. Her family marked the passing of time, not by the changing of the seasons, but by the power of the next rocket launch, and the boundaries broken as man pushed closer and closer to the moon. Amy presents a very unique viewpoint of the historic Apollo missions as she provides insight into her family experiences and reviews some of the amazing artwork from her father.
