Our friends in the AIAA Greater Philadelphia Section will be hosting a virtual Resume/Professional Development Workshop on Sept 27th. This event is open to all members of AIAA and any interested in attending or volunteering, please see the information below.

The Greater Philadelphia Section along with CPA and SNJ Sections will be hosting a virtual Resume / Professional Development Workshop for students and young professionals on Tuesday September 27th 6-8 PM EST.

We'd like to invite your memberships to sign up either to attend to learn or volunteer to help! See attached PDF with panelist information.

During the 1st hour a panel of 5 speakers will give mini-presentations on resumes, cover letters, interview process, networking, and grad school. During the 2nd hour we are pairing students and young professionals with volunteer members to go over their resumes and cover letters.

Should anyone decide to volunteer here are the details of the time commitment:

You will be assigned 1-2 resumes or cover letters, to be distributed to you no later than the evening of Friday September 23rd. We ask that you read through your assigned resumes or cover letters and make as many suggestions as possible. On the evening of Tuesday September 27th you will be joining our virtual workshop at 7pm EST for breakout rooms to discuss resumes or cover letters with 1-2 young persons.
