It's that time again... we are accepting nominations for the AIAA Central Coast of California Council 15-30 April. Nominate by contacting the Secion Secretary and the nominating committee will take it from there! Nominees will be notified and asked if they accept their nomination, then the nominating committee with prepare our slate for elections 1-15 May. See guidelines below for information on open positions. Remember, no self-nominations. Council Member Election Guidelines:
- Nominees must be AIAA Central Coast section members.
- No self-nominating allowed. Nominees must be nominated by an AIAA member other than themselves.
- Definition of Voting Member: a person who is an AIAA Central Coast active Professional Member, or a Council Member.
Discounted memberships are able to nominate, and serve on the council, but are not considered voting members. This is one of the benefits of being a Professional Member, they pay full price, and receive voting rights. Discounted members such as e-Members, military discounted members, or student discounted members can be nominated and can be elected to council; but they are not considered voting members, unless they serve on the council. All council members are considered voting members despite membership type.
Once a member voted in as a council member, they are considered voting members regardless of membership type.
