    Every year, we honor three members of our PNW community for their achievements and/or contributions to the advancement and promotion of the aerospace sciences. We have three categories this year:

    • Young Engineer of the Year
    • Industry Engineer of the Year
    • STEM Advocate of the Year

     

    We would like to invite you to bring forward candidates who deserve this honor. Nominees must be a current AIAA member in good standing and must reside in the Pacific Northwest. Anyone is allowed to nominate a candidate. If you are not sure if someone is an AIAA member you can either look him/her up on Engage, or send an email to honors_and_awards@pnwaiaa.org.


    Submit nominations by 5 pm on Wednesday June 16, 2021.

     

    Guidelines and criteria for the PNW AIAA section awards can be found here.

    Last year, the winners were:

    • John M. Somerville as the STEM Advocate of the Year
    • David King as the Industry Engineer of the Year
