AIAA STM Working Group, Task 2: Execute a test case, based on user needs, to identify desired improvements in current SSA/STM processes, including the exploration of the impact of assumptions, measurement uncertainties, and modeling algorithms on data sensitivity. The goal will be to identify critical components, data, and common assumptions that will allow the community to ensure consistency when comparing output from various processes.
Output: A consistent understanding and community-wide consensus of critical assumptions and data parameters that should be commonly employed to calculate conjunctions. In addition, the establishment of a system that can be used to provide demonstrations for key stakeholders (including in government, industry, academia, and the international community), involving the challenges and existing capabilities related to Space Situational Awareness and Space Traffic Management, using real satellites, real observations, and existing software.
