Hello NNJ section members,
As a summary of what was done in 2025-2026
1) Paper airplane contest at Picatiinny Community Day. Over 100 students participated in building and flyling paper airplanes. Prices were given for distance and accuracy
2) Table display at Introduce a Teen to Engineering in cooperation with Picatinny STEM team. Over 80 students attended.
3) Month of Military Child at Dennis O'Brien Elementary Schoool - section provided drone demonstration and telescope demonstrated. Over 240 students attended.
4) Rockaway Valley School STEM Fair. Over 105 students participated.
We want to plan opportunities for the upcoming year. Do you have an event that you would like to host and might need some contributions to help with the cost.
Does your student chapter wish to host something where we may be able to help financially or with volunteers.
Do any of the companies with professional members wish to have an event or possibly have a few companies cohost an event
Do we have interest in having a professional speaker and hosting a virtual event.
Do we have any members that would like to participate in any council discussions.
I plan to learn how to utilize Engage more effectively
